Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor. Her most well-known role is the role of Jane Seymour, the young woman who will become the third Queen of Henry VIII on the television program The Tudors. Her acting career started at National Theater Iceland when she was 9 years old. Being a small child actress she was a part of various plays, as well as radio shows in her home country of Iceland. Briem relocated from Iceland to London aged 16 when he was part of the stage production Lenin's Love. When he was 19, Briem was accepted at the world-renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) which is where she studied for the next three years. There she was awarded a doctorate in drama and also won the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight.
